I visited the supermarket yesterday, in order to wonder what food nonsense man is still capable to do. A quarter of the sales space is occupied by “refreshing” drinks. And beer.
A few days ago an acquaintance made a name for himself from the fact that he never drinks water, but a certain “natural” fruit juice. I looked at the ingredients: water, sugar, 1.5% fruit concentrate and some chemicals. Very “natural”. People don’t know how to read ingredients. Nothing is natural in those drinks, if they were, they wouldn’t even last 3 hours on the shelf. Even those with some fruit pulp are not natural, but are pasteurized, i.e. passed through a process that inactivates microorganisms, as well as most of the vitamins and minerals.
People, drink water! With lemon, with orange slices, with strawberries, with cucumber, with mint, with basil, with ice cubes… Water. It’s good, it’s natural, our body recognizes it and accepts it. Find a good source or get a filter and drink water.

When you set out to lose weight, don’t do it to follow the latest fad. Do it to be healthy. When you can’t effortlessly bend down to cut your toenails you’re not at a healthy weight, no matter how much you tell me how good you feel in your own skin.
If you have an autoimmune disease, especially a rheumatic one, you must have a BMI not below 25, but below 22, if you want to feel good. I know it’s hard to lose weight and especially to maintain it, but if you dare to say that whoever likes you, likes you anyway, you won’t solve anything. Face the truth, cry if you feel like it, and get to work. Start slowly to change your lifestyle. Because it’s about lifestyle, not weight loss. What brought you here will have to be removed or transformed forever. To change your body, you must first change your thinking.
How about you get down to business?

Full Moon in Pisces considerations. There are many causes that lead to the onset of a disease. And different from person to person. There are physical, tangible causes that can be seen in lab analyzes or other medical investigations, and less tangible causes, such as the human psyche, what we feel, what we think, or causes that can lead to the times before birth. We need to be aware that there cannot be a single cause of the disease we have, which, if we detect it, we can eliminate and that’s it, we are healthy. That’s how we would like everything to be: clear, concise and easy to solve.
When I realized the tangle of causes that led to my illnesses, I demoralized. Because I realized that the “ball” is too tangled and what are the chances I have to untangle it, to heal myself? Then I understood that change was needed. Ok, well, let’s change. But how? I was still asking for concrete, tangible solutions, if someone could turn on the light for me and lead me by the hand through the meanderings of life. I still wanted to control the healing process. To know exactly what and how.
Healing is a long process. It is a road, not a destination. If you keep your eyes fixed on the horizon, looking for the cure, you lose sight of the way. What happens after you reach your destination? Nothing. But if you walk on a road, without a specific desire to get somewhere, you learn a lot. You learn who you are, you learn to take care of yourself, you learn to truly enjoy yourself.
Healing does not mean the disappearance of symptoms and a return to the previous state of affairs. It means a new life, in which the causes that triggered the disease were understood and integrated. We do not fight the causes of disease. We understand them, forgive them and let them go in peace. Yes, this takes time and patience. It takes us to stop our mad rush for… for what? Nothing.
