Since eating strictly gluten-free, in addition to the obvious health benefits, I never cease to marvel at the fact that I’m not gaining weight anymore. Of course I take care of my eating habits, such as meal times and food combinations, but I also allow myself dessert, in reasonable amounts, almost every day. Today I had a craving for chocolate.
Ingredients
- 160 grams of chocolate
- 2 tablespoons of coconut butter
- About 2 handfuls of raw hazelnuts
- About a handful of cranberries
Method of preparation
Put the raw hazelnuts in the shell in the oven, in a tray, for 15-20 minutes. After this interval they are cooked and can be easily peeled. Then they are shredded, each as they prefer, I, more convenient, used the food processor. However, they should not be chopped too much. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate and coconut butter together. After they reach a liquid state, turn off the stove and add the chopped hazelnuts and cranberries. It is homogenized, then the composition is poured into a tray, on baking paper, in a thin layer. The tray goes to a cold room, or to the balcony, or to the refrigerator, if there is room for it. After 2 hours it detaches from the paper and breaks into smaller or larger “shards”. Store at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
