Baked cauliflower

by Oana

I’ve talked about cauliflower before, I have a serious relationship with it, although it’s not long since we’ve known each other. We appreciate each other and help each other, I make it known online, but also at home, where it started to be tasted more and more, and it helps me prepare varied and tasty meals, nutritionally balanced, full of vitamins, minerals and fiber. A win-win situation. I only haven’t put it in cakes, otherwise I put it in everything, from cream soups to bread. In this recipe it is full of stickum, so to speak 😊.

    Ingredients

    • A head of cauliflower
    • 2 tablespoons of tahini
    • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon of nutritive dry yeast flakes
    • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
    • ½ teaspoon of salt
    • ½ tsp chilli powder

I had a medium head of cauliflower that I submerged in water for a few minutes to dislodge any tenants that may have been hiding in it. I prepared a sauce from the above ingredients. I drained the water well from the cauliflower, cut it a little from the stem (I kept a few leaves at the base, the ones that look fresh). I placed it in a baking plastic bag, the one for the steak. I opened the bag and directly inside it I smeared the cauliflower well with the prepared sauce, using a silicone brush and turning it on all sides. There was a bit of sauce left, I put it in the bag too, I closed it with the special clip that was in the package with the bag, I gave it 2-3 holes with the tip of the knife, I placed it in the pan and put in the oven for 30-40 minutes.

After removing the pan from the oven, I let the cauliflower cool for a few minutes, then opened the bag. The first day I ate it plain, as a side dish, alongside a wonderful sea bream, and from what was left I made a puree goodie the next day (I added a spoonful of coconut cream and mixed), puree which I befriended with a little piece from a novac (some kind of carp). I thus had the main meals of 2 different days secured, healthy, tasty meals prepared with minimal effort and a bit of imagination.
