Fruit jelly

by Oana

We know how healthy eating fruit is, especially in the morning, on an empty stomach. But it seems that sometimes when you get out of bed you don’t get tempted by an apple, a grapefruit or some other sourness. So I thought of coming up with an idea to make fruit more appealing.

    Ingredients

    • 2 small apples
    • A handful of frozen blueberries
    • A handful of spinach
    • The juice of a grapefruit
    • Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
    • A pinch of ginger powder
    • A spoonful of honey
    • 2-3 drops of vanilla essence
    • A packet of gelatin
    • A banana

    Method of preparation

    1

First we squeeze the grapefruit. Put 100 ml of juice in a kettle, put the rest in a blender. Place the gelatin over the juice from the kettle. We clean the apples, leaving the peel in place, cut them into small cubes and, together with the rest of the ingredients minus the banana, blend them well. Put the kettle with the gelatin on a low heat, stirring continuously. Don’t boil it, it don’t even get it too hot, leave it only until it liquefies, a few seconds, a minute maybe. Mix with the blended fruits, taste, add honey, if necessary, then pour into the casserole. Cut the banana into pieces and dip them into the jelly. Refrigerate. The whole operation is done in the evening, it takes a maximum of 10 minutes, and in the morning, with sleepy eyes, or in a hurry, we grab the casserole and throw it in the bag, or for the luckiest people who eat breakfast at home, it is enjoyed with a cup of green tea.

P.S: You can also try with other fruits, what you have on hand or what you like best. I have also made it with blueberries, raspberries and orange juice. For those who do not tolerate fruits very well, gelatin helps their digestion, making them more “friendly” to the stomach.
